Targets & Leaderboard

Set monthly targets per rep, view the team grid, compete on the leaderboard, earn badges, and participate in gamification challenges.

Targets and gamification keep your sales team motivated and aligned. Set monthly objectives for each rep, track progress on the team grid, and let the leaderboard and badge system drive healthy competition.

Monthly Targets

Navigate to Targets from the sidebar to set and manage monthly performance targets for each rep:

  1. Select the month and year from the date picker.
  2. For each rep, enter targets for key metrics: revenue, number of visits, orders placed, deals closed, and new clients acquired.
  3. Tap Save to lock in the targets for the month.
  4. Progress toward each target is tracked automatically as reps log activity throughout the month.

Pro tip

Set targets that are ambitious but achievable. A target that is hit by 70-80% of the team is well-calibrated. If everyone hits 100%, the targets are too easy; if nobody gets close, they are demoralizing.

Team Grid View

The team grid provides a compact overview of every rep's progress against their targets in a single table:

  • Rows represent team members, columns represent target metrics.
  • Each cell shows the current value, target value, and progress percentage.
  • Color coding makes it easy to spot who is on track (green), at risk (amber), or behind (red).
  • Click on any cell to drill down into the underlying activity for that rep and metric.

The grid supports multi-month views, letting you see target achievement trends across several months at once.

Leaderboard Rankings

The leaderboard ranks all reps by a composite performance score that factors in target achievement, deal wins, and effort score:

  1. Navigate to Leaderboard from the sidebar.
  2. View rankings for the current week, month, or quarter.
  3. Each rep's card shows their rank, total points, badges earned, and current tier.
  4. Tap any rep to see a detailed breakdown of how their points are distributed.

Note

Reps can see their own rank and the leaderboard positions of their teammates. This drives healthy competition without exposing sensitive individual metrics like exact revenue numbers.

Badges and Gamification Tiers

Kolva awards badges for specific achievements, and reps accumulate points that unlock gamification tiers:

  • Badges — Earned for milestones like "First Deal Won," "10 Visits in a Day," "100% Target Achievement," "Perfect Follow-Up Week," and more. Each badge has a unique icon and description.
  • Bronze tier — Entry level. Achieved after earning your first few badges and accumulating baseline points.
  • Silver tier — Consistent performers who regularly hit targets and maintain good effort scores.
  • Gold tier — Top performers who exceed targets and demonstrate exceptional effort across all dimensions.
  • Platinum tier — Elite status. Reserved for sustained excellence over multiple months.

Pro tip

Celebrate badge achievements in team meetings. Public recognition reinforces the behaviors you want to see and motivates others to earn their own badges.

Challenges

Challenges are time-limited competitions that focus the team on a specific goal:

  1. Managers create a challenge from Leaderboard > Challenges.
  2. Define the objective (e.g., "Most new clients acquired this week" or "Highest visit count in 3 days").
  3. Set the start and end dates.
  4. All eligible reps are automatically enrolled. Progress is tracked on a dedicated challenge leaderboard.
  5. When the challenge ends, the winner is announced and awarded bonus points and a special badge.
